Stainless steel water bottle is the second greenest choice for a reusable water bottle. The greenest choice is glass water bottle, but glass breaks easily so it's not ideal when out and about. Having said that, do use glass water bottle if you can or when breakage is not a concern. Glass is better for our environment. However, do take notice of the type of glass you are using. Glass quality varies greatly. Low quality glass can release alkaline which is harmful for our body. Borosilicate glass is the best quality glass to store food and liquid.
