Clean for our body. Clean for our planet
I created Ash N Juls because I was concerned about the health impact that plastic drink bottles and containers have on my children. I first heard about the toxins in plastics when chatting with a group of mums. Being a skeptic, I did lots of research on the topic and consulted friends who are doctors, chemists and natural health experts. What I learned horrified me, so I made it my mission to eliminate toxic plastics from my family's life as mush as I possibly can.
Only wanting the best for my family, I searched (and I'm still searching!) all over the globe for high quality, healthier alternatives that are at the same time, affordable. For those customers who have researched those alternative products, you may have noticed that the products that I stock at Ash N Juls are somewhat different from those ones in the USA websites. This is because most brands from the USA are very expensive to import to Australia. I therefore spent a lot of time searching for similar products from countries closer to home such as Korea, Japan, Thailand and Taiwan. Those products may not have fancy packaging in English
language, but what they do have is high quality and for me, that is the
most important part. Products such as stainless steel has been used to store food and drinks for a very long time in Asia . There are therefore a wide and affordable range to choose from. And my job is to eliminate the low quality ones and only offer the high quality products for my children.
I hope to share my journey and knowledge on these alternative products with other like-minded parents and help other families replace their toxic plastic foodware with healthy and environmentally friendly alternatives.
Every product that you see on my website has been 'road-tested' in my own household. I don't make any kids product available to the public until it 'passes' my toddler and baby's rough handling.
