Traditional glass baby bottles are heavy and with narrow neck. But this new Coddlelife glass baby bottle has a wide neck which makes it easier to hold. It is light weight (in fact, the lightest glass baby bottle on the market!) and made from Borosillicate glass which makes it extremely resistant to high heat and breakage.

It has soft, wide and stretchy nipple which mimics breastfeeding action, preventing nipple confusions.

Glass Baby Bottles - A Brief Review
I personally prefer to use Glass Baby Bottles than the BPA-free plastic ones. Babies are not supposed to be bottle fed without supervision or running around with their baby bottles anyway so I don't see the need for using plastic ones. All my children are fed breastmilk first then formula with Glass Baby Bottles. I started with the traditional glass baby bottles, then Silikids, and now I'm using Coddlelife.

What makes Coddlelife different from the other glass baby bottles is that it's very light weight. When I first received my sample, I thought I made a mistake and ordered a plastic bottle! Also, with its wide neck, Coddlelife Glass Baby Bottle is very easy to hold. Most glass baby bottles are still made with the traditional narrow-neck design but Coddlelife has merged the goodness of glass and the modern baby bottle design together and created the wide-neck glass baby bottle.

Same as Silikids and some brands of glass baby bottles, CoddleLife has silicone wraps available for purchase separately which offers extra protection from burning and breakage. One big plus with Coddlelife silicone wrap is, it is very easy to slip on and off unlike some other brands. A cheaper way to invest in the CoddleLife Glass Baby Bottle is to buy one or two silicone wraps (depending on your budget), then as many glass baby bottles as you need (depending on how often you feed e.g. do you breastfeed as well as bottle feed or do you entirely bottle feed?)

There are also stainless steel baby bottles available on the market. Being a stainless steel specialty retailer, I thought I ought to stock stainless steel baby bottles but I still find glass baby bottles a much better chocie for the following reasons:

1) Stainless steel is not 'see through': For me, it's easier to make the bottle if I can see how much water are being put in, and it's easier to tell if my baby is sucking milk in properly if I can see through the bottle. But with stainless steel, I can't see anything.

2) Glass is the BEST and the GREENEST alternative to plastics: where possible, glass is still  a better alternative. Stainless steel is the second best when we are unable to use glass, for example, we need water bottles to be unbreakable and portable, or we need kids plates to be unbreakable etc. In the case with baby bottles, I'm always there to hold the bottle or supervise my baby, so breakage is not a concern. I don't see the need to use stainless steel baby bottle when the greener alternative is there.
