I have just recieved a red one of these bottles and was suprised that it looked more attractive than the picture. I couldn't wait to clean it and fill it up. I love this bottle as an alternative to plastic bottles. It is also lighter than I thought it would be.

Great value for money |

I purchased this bottle for my 3 year old, as a replacement for his Foogo drink bottle. (The Foogo had developed a mould-like mark on the silicone straw.)
My son is tall and strong for his age. At first he found the 700ml Ewan a bit heavy to lift, but only when full. He quickly made the transition from having to hold the bottle down to suck through a straw (like the Foogo) to tilting it up to drink from the Ewan's sports cap.
After a month of daily use, the Ewan bottle looks almost new. Still shiny, no dents, and just a few scratches. It is very easy to clean - I swish it in warm dishwashing water, then rinse. Every few days I do an extra rinse with vinegar.
It does not keep liquids as cold as the Foogo did, so in summer I will carry it in a cold bag. This minor disadvantage is outweighed by the cheaper price, the greater volume and the total lack of breakable plastic! (The plastic base of our Foogo is cracked and has a big chip missing.)
